Workforce and Professional Education Scholarship Opportunities at 365球赛平台

The Workforce and Professional Education department at Ocean County College offers dedicated and driven students the opportunity to receive financial assistance through the H. Hovnanian Foundation School of Nursing and Health Sciences Grant. The grant can help pay for as much as half of the cost of some healthcare courses. Students enrolled in the following courses are encouraged to apply:

  • Veterinary Assistant
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
  • Dental Assisting
  • Medical Billing and Coding Specialist
  • Phlebotomy Technician

Scholarship Application Requirements

To be considered for the WPE Grant Scholarship, please ensure you meet the following requirements and submit all necessary documents:

  1. Enroll in the Course
    Visit the WPE registration page, add a course to your cart, and check out to enroll. To delay payment until after the grant application decision has been made, please call the WPE Office at 732-255-0400 x2549 for assisted enrollment.
  2. WPE Grant Application Form
    Complete the WPE Grant Application Form. This form provides us with essential information about you, your academic background, and your financial situation.
  3. 250-Word Essay
    Write a 250-word essay that describes why you feel you should be awarded the scholarship. Your essay should be clear, concise, and reflect your personal experiences and aspirations.
  4. Financial Documentation
    Submit one of the following documents to verify your financial need:
    • A copy of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) report, or
    • Household income verification showing an annual income of less than $100,000.

How to Apply

  2. Complete the Form
    Fill out all required fields in the WPE Grant Application Form. Ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date. Note: Income verification is no longer required to be submitted.
  3. Write Your Essay
    Write and proofread your 250-word essay. Make sure it aligns with the given topic and clearly communicates your goals and needs.
  4. Submit Your Application
    Email your completed application form, essay, and financial documentation to scholarships@5675n.com with the subject line “WPE Grant Scholarship Application – [Your Name].”

Important Dates
